Get Sold Privacy Policy

What Get Sold collects
Get Sold does not ask for your name, email address or any account details. When you first open the app it creates an anonymous identifier so your own listings can be kept separate from everyone else’s. That identifier is not linked to you personally.
Photos
The photos you choose are sent to our service so that a listing can be written from them and a product photo can be made from them. They are used for that purpose and nothing else. We do not use your photos to train any model. Only the photos you explicitly select are read; Get Sold does not scan your photo library.
What is stored
We do not store the listings that are written for you, or the photos that are made for you. They stay on your device.
The only thing kept on our servers is a count of how many listings and photos you have created and whether you have an active subscription. That is what the free allowance is measured against and what stops the service being abused.
Processing
Listings are generated using Anthropic’s Claude API. Product photos are generated using Google’s Gemini API. Your photos are processed by those two providers on our behalf, under their commercial terms, solely to produce your listing and your photo. Neither is permitted to use them to train models, and neither receives your name or any account details, because we do not hold any.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the anonymous identifier from your device. The only records held against that identifier are counts of how many listings and photos you have made, and whether you have an active subscription. To have those deleted, contact us at the address below.
